Rubbish is Art and Art is Rubbish etc.
The Tree House school in Cholsey organised a project where the pupils made artworks out of rubbish they had gathered; these pieces were then auctioned at an event to raise much needed funds for the school. I participated by making an artwork titled Wasted. In fact my collection of special objects in the studio included a perfectly flattened coke can which I had always planned to use in a collage, so this was the perfect opportunity to transform it into a shiny new image ......
